An the trend of players giving up their college eligibility rather than playing for Chicago continues. First Spencer Anderson, then Josh Bemis, and now Tyler Murovich.
Tyler was due for a big year in Chicago, but instead will probably start low up in Saginaw. He's an excellent player, so let's just hope it turns out to be the right choice for his career.
On a related note, Andy Miele made it through clearinghouse and will enroll at Miami Ohio in January and it doesn't look like he will be going to the OHL.

This should be another wake up call for the USHL.
Step it up, improve the league, er, certain teams.
I notice it seems to be the same teams losing players.
Comrie was with Omaha who is viewed by many as one of the top teams in the league.

I would rather play in the NAHL than Chicago or Ohio.
That's the problem nowadays for kids, they all want to be stars and play on a team but only if that team is full of stars!
So where does that leave Chitown regarding their number of players remaining on their roster?
from what I'm aware, I believe it puts them at 19 players.

Wake up USHL? PFFFFFFFFT! Players going to major junior from, or instead of to the USHL, has NOTHING to do with the quality, or feebleness of any of the league's teams and everything to do with a player either not being able to get into college, or wanting to go pro instead.
Learn something about the sport before posting about it.

Anywhere anytime the CHL fans will tell you that the CHL is the supremist league of all of hockey. A CHL team could baet any rival by at least 50 goals a game. It is next to Godliness.
Well it is better but only marginally.
I guess we will see in about a week how much better the CHL is.
I am looking forward to the excuses that come about.
In Canada there is a hatred for everything not the CHL, including the refs.
The USHL league is turning into a "high school league". Do you really think 20 year olds like playing with 16 year olds? More and more younger players are playing on the teams. I would put any older, experienced, stronger player against a little '90 or '91 anyday! It is too bad the NAHL can't scrimmage the USHL teams...they would kick butt! Go watch a NAHL game and then watch a USHL game, you will know what I mean!

Yeah you are right, there is no comparison! I would put an experienced NAHL player against a experienced USHL player any day of the week. You must not have watched games in both leagues. The players are older, stronger, and more physical. Why do USHL Teams continue to decline to scrimmage NAHL Teams?? Because they are afraid they would get beat and it would ruin their reputation! A first line NAHL player could easily hold their own against a first or 2nd line USHL player and dominate a USHL 3rd line player. End of story.
well, I'd sure hope a 1st line 20 year old in the NAHL could handle a 3rd line 16 year old in the USHL
Yeah and that is the reason ALL the D-1 and NHL scouts are at the NAHL games every night.....What a joke. The NAHL is nothing but a good midget AAA team.
Yeah, you are right the scouts are at more USHL games. But the gap is closing and now more than ever scouts finally are offering more scholarships to the NAHL players.

The ushl is going to play the teams in the "Q". Why waste their time with the top feeder league for D-3 hockey.
Why don't they play? So the NA benders don't hurt the USHL players. At least that's why we never played Springfield when I was working in Chicago -- what's the fuckin point?
The point is that I would rather watch the talented 16 /17 year old over the 20 year old NA bender who is just riding out his last year of hockey
Please...the "talented" 16 or 17 year olds! They just got off playing JV High School..had some points and wow they are a "big" deal or they played for some big name midget team so that automatically makes them great....well not always. I say keep them where they are and make the USHL for older kids!
