Sioux City released forward Christian Olsen. Olsen had 0 points in 10 games for the Musketeers.
Omaha placed Brendan Sheehan on their affiliated list and added forward Justin Johnson. I don't have any further info on Johnson at this point. Sheehan had an assist in 20 games for the Lancers.
Waterloo activated Billy Maday from the IR.
Ohio was super busy today, as their released Itan Chavira, Vinnie Bradley, and Anthony Perdicaro. It's been a long fall for Perdicaro, as he went from the OHL to the USHL's worst team, to being released by the USHL's worst team.
In their places, Ohio added Donnie Hallmark back to the roster and Alex Laseen, who was added once before this season. The Blue Jackets also added forward Mike Cichy, who recently left the USNTDP and was rumored to be headed back to the EJHL's Boston Jr. Bruins. Hockey Recruits Blog and Western College Hockey Blog made mention of Cichy's release. Cichy becomes the second player to leave the NTDP for the USHL, joining Lincoln Star Colby Cohen.
EDIT:
Lincoln has also been busy in the transactions area today as well. The Stars placed rookie forward Eric Lake on the 45 day IR, and added Travis Erstad off their futures list.
Now, here comes the biggest shocker, to me anyways, Steve Johnson released forward Dan Comrie. Comrie was having an outstanding comeback year, scoring 17 points in 20 games. Patrick McAuley was also released.
I have been informed that Comrie had to quit hockey again, as he hadn't been feeling right lately.

Let's not stop there with the transactions. Lincoln released Patrick McAuley and Dan Comrie today. Lincoln also added Travis Erstad to the team. Lincoln also placed Eric Lake on 45 day IR
Any clue on why Comrie and McAuley were released. How many overagers does Lincoln have? Could Comrie have been released to make room for another.
Being that teams know they are all in the playoffs, are we going to see more moves as teams try to improve for the playoffs?
Is there a deadline for moves?
Today was a busy day for transactions, I think, the 10th of this month is the trade deadline
