Chicago released Mike Gurtler and added 90 born goalie Nick Pisellini in his place. I assume Nick is a younger brother to former OHL tough guy Gino Pisellini.
Ohio added Ben Dykstra to the roster. Ben is currently playing at South Kentwood High School in Kentwood, Michigan. Ohio also added Corson Cramer, who was recently waived by Texas Tornado of the NAHL. In the past May draft, Cramer was drafted by Waterloo, who got the pick from Ohio for Kyle Follmer, so they basically got that pick back. Useless knowledge, isn't it wonderful?
Omaha added forward Joe Beaudette to the team. Joe is a senior at Blaine HS in Blaine, Minnesota.
Last note I have right now, Corson Cramer took #33 in Ohio, which was Troy Redmann's number. I have since learned that Troy left the Jr. Blue Jackets to turn pro in the ECHL.
Edit:
Junior Blue Jackets to move Hockey Operations to Columbus for 2007-2008.

Why would Ohio add somebody who was waived by a Tier 2 team? Unless he asked to leave. I don't get it.
Dykstra goes to East Kentwood high school in Michigan. They are currently ranked #1 in the state in Division 1
Brilliant move by Jason Koehler...2 good goalies and 16 skaters healthy and available...I wonder which I'd add? He continues to show his managing brilliance and we should all bow down to Him.
Koehler should just trade 4 more of his best players for draft picks and money and have every pick in the draft next year.
Yeah for a team that has no business being in business seeing as they don't even have enough money to pay their bills (or employees)
what team did redmann go to in the ECHL?
haven't seen where he has signed yet, but once I find out I will be sure to let everyone know.
I noticed this from a Feb 3rd release from Waterloo, not sure if it has anything to do with Troy not playing
"At 10:16 of the second, the Blue Jackets lost starting goalie Troy Redmann when Waterloo's Keegan Meuer plowed into him while being checked from behind by Anthony Perdicaro.
Redmann stayed on the ice for several minutes before being helped to the locker room."
Corson was not given a fair shake in Texas. He was played very scarcely in favor of the starting tender. I think his first 4 games with Ohio should speak to the kind of goalie he is. I watched him play for a below average Midget Maj AAA Miners team and keep them in almost every game despite routinely getting 40-50 shots a game (usually giving up 1 or 2 goals). By the looks of Ohio's defense he should feel right at home.
