The USHL’s Omaha Lancers added G Kris Lazaruk, 20, to their roster on Thursday. Lazaruk began this season with the Kootenay Ice before being traded to the Kelowna Rockets. He lost his spot with the Rockets on Saturday when they acquired G Mark Guggenberber, 19, from the Swift Current Broncos.
I'd have to imagine this will end Nick Hopper's short tenure as an Omaha Lancer. Seems odd since Coach Littler had just traded for Hopper, and put him in just one game (which he won in a shootout).
