Unfortunately Omaha lost this one; Waterloo did not out play Omaha that's for sure. Who ever was running point streak gave Waterloo 7 shots in the third period prior to the third period start (go figure - perhaps someone else watching pointstreak can verify same, I saw it with my own eyes). This just tells me that Waterloo pads their stats. I now see why the popular defenseman Kessel had so many points on paper but why he was a big minus. I hope the Lancers come back strong on Friday night. Go LANCERS!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but shots on goal have no effect whatsoever on who scored more goals. Sounds like an Omaha fan is starting to get some of the same medicine that the rest of the league gets from the Omaha barn when visiting teams come to town. Isn't that too bad... Ha!

Go Hawks!!!

I can't believe there is not more chatter about the disallowed goal by Omaha. I have never seen a goal so emphatically awarded by the referee and then taken away.

May the better team win - didn't say that Waterloo didn't score more goals - article just said that Waterloo didn't outplay Omaha and the stats were wrong. Good luck both teams......

Both teams are talented and it shows. I think Omaha lost their drive when the goal was disallowed and then Sova received a tripping penalty when he was down on the ice when a waterloo player ran into him - I think Omaha could have won, both teams looked good and fought a good fight
