Lee commits to Fargo/Expansion Draft Info

A few days ago, I had blogged about Roseau goalie, Mike Lee, signing a tender and thinking things over about playing a full year in Fargo or doing a split season. Lee has made his decision and that is to enroll at Fargo South and be a member of the Force all season. Coach Dean Blais stated Lee will likely be the team's number one goalie. Great addition for Fargo and for the USHL as a whole. This kid seems like a top notch goalie, and will only better himself by playing at the USHL level.

“It’s going to be tough leaving the guys here, my friends and teammates,” said Lee, who will enroll at Fargo South next year. “But I want to be the first goalie from Roseau to play in the NHL. This is the step I feel is needed to get there.”

The Force will have three goaltenders on the roster next season.

Matt Hemmingway played at Alexandria (Minn.) High School, and Cody Campbell started for the Pikes Peak AAA Midget team in Colorado.

Expansion Draft Info:
Blais said the Force will add six players during the USHL’s expansion draft on May 13. Existing teams are allowed to protect eight players currently on the roster. Players with college commitments are already protected.
