The Hayes deal is insane. Lincoln is trading Ohio their 2nd and 3rd round picks in the draft this coming May, and also their first and second round picks in the futures draft next fall, as well as a player. The kid will never report to Lincoln. Doesn't want to go there evidently.

Brent Wagner of the Lincoln Journal Star spilled all the details of this trade.

Lincoln receives: rights to Jimmy Hayes, 3rd and 4th round futures picks.
