Chris Connolly Commits

WCH Blog is reporting that Omaha forward Chris Connolly has committed to Boston University for the 2008 season.

From the couple of games I have seen Connolly play, he has been extremely good and it makes me wonder why it took him so long to get an offer. He should be a top scorer for Omaha this year, and BU is getting a quality player.

I got the chance to meet Mr. Connelly a couple years ago and not only is he a great hockey player but person as well. This is his third try at getting in th the USHL but I'm glad he's finally done it.

So do you! It looks like another NAHL Player did well last night, Kretzker(former NAHL Player now with Lincoln scored an unassisted goal against the Bucs.

The Waterloo coach will live to regret letting him get away!

And about the NAHL...I was at a NAHL game last night and Mankato and North Dakota scouts were in attendance just to name a few! If the players are soooo bad why the attention?!

Wow ..a battle here! Quality players come from both leagues..NAHL or the USHL. Good luck to all of the players, may they live "the dream" and receive a Division I Scholarship!

it goes to show you that the schools are fickle and i can't understand why if he is this good took them so long to offer. If you play well at the start of the season look what happens.Happy for the player but I' m sure he is wondering where these schools were when he was in the NAHL
