Former Buccaneer Mark Mullen named assistant coach in Cedar Rapids.
“I’m happy to welcome Mark Mullen to the RoughRiders’ organization,” said RoughRiders Coach and General Manager Mark Carlson. “He is a quality person who was a team captain and a very good player in a great program at Boston University. He’s a proven winner who’s been to NCAA tournaments and won Beanpots. He will be very valuable to all of our players here in Cedar Rapids. Mullen replaces Joe Exter, who has been named the goaltending coach for the U.S.N.T.D.P. in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Exter spent one season behind the RoughRiders bench.
