According to Chris Heisenberg, Ricky Doriott, who will be suiting up for the Sioux City Musketeers, has committed to Michigan Tech University for the fall of 2008. Standing in at 6'5" 218, Doriott is quite the big kid. He has excellent speed for his size, and can also play physical. He projects to be a top 4 defenseman and should be a nice college player.
Doriott spent last season playing in the NAHL with the Wichita Falls Wildcats.
