Commitment News

Thanks to the people who have commented on previous entries letting me know about these.

Sioux Falls' Dan Sexton, who was previously set to sign with Bentley, will now be attending Bowling Green State University in the fall.

Tri-City's Sean Wiles has accepted an offer from Alaska-Anchorage and will begin playing there in the fall.

I feel Sexton could have found a better school, and probably one in the WCHA. Bowling Green has lots of talent, but just never seem to put it all together. Good like to Dan and Sean.

EDIT:
Chicago Steel forwards, Brian O'Neill and Dan Otto, have both committed to Yale for 2008 or 2009.

Noticed that Andrew Conboy is still not on the roster for Omaha. Is he going to play for Omaha or Portland of the WHL? Is he still going to UNO?

as far as I know he is. Nick Larson and Travis Novak are also supposed to be returning to Omaha and are not listed either.

Agree with comment on Sexton. Would have thought that with taking the rather extraordinary step of decommitting from one school that he would have waited out a big time program.....Bowling Green???
