News and Notes

The Union Leader has a nice article on Musketeer forward Phil DeSimone.

DeSimone, who turned 20 last month, has not been drafted and this is the last yeasr he's eligible to be picked.

"I told many people they should take him and nobody did," the coach said. "That's not going to happen this year. Many, many teams are interested. He's got the hands, the creativity, the vision, the skating, the size and he's proven himself. I kind of think he'll be a third, fourth, middle round guy. But he could go higher."

Mark Lemelin continues to show how great of a referee he truly is.

Playoff Update:
Cedar Rapids swept their series with Ohio, 4 games to none.

Indiana leads Green Bay 3 games to none.
Des Moines leads their series with Omaha 3 games to none.
Sioux Falls has dominated Lincoln thus far, and hold a 3 game to none lead.
