News and Notes

Des Moines set two records recently. The first was for most PP goals in a season with 99. Previous record was 97 held by the Thunder Bay Flyers. The second was for most overtime games in a single season with 17. Previous record was held by the Waterloo Black Hawks with 12.

USHL talks about the race for Andy.

USHL adds Doug Miller to their staff. Miller is an excellent front office worker for the Waterloo Black Hawks, and it's great to have someone of his caliber working for the league.

USHL passes the 1 million fan mark again this season.

This Kennedy Haunts Boston.

"It feels crazy right now," said Kennedy, his voice muffled by the screams of his teammates. "Before the game, people were saying we had like a 30 percent chance of winning, it feels amazing to prove them wrong."
Ehn Humble in Defeat.

"We watched the video clips and I'm leaning over to David and going 'Wow' and another clip comes up and 'Oh, that was nice.' Then the next one comes up and 'Whoa, wish I could do that' — kept that one to myself though," quipped Ehn.
