Marc Foster posted on his blog about the new SWJHL earlier today, and mentioned that three coaches have been signed. I have since learned that Mike Hastings is one of those three coaches. Hastings, who is the third most winning est coach in the USHL, appears to have left to pursue other challenges. Though a Jr. B league isn't what I pictured Hastings leaving for, it seems to be a reality. The USHL and Omaha will be losing a quality coach, but I'm sure the rest of the league and fans will be happy to see Hastings move on.
