USHL's photographer, Robert J. Meyer, has his own blog. He should be getting around to getting some more entries in the near future, so be sure to keep checking it out.
Paul Stastny for Calder? That doesn't sound right, but this former Lancer has been flying under the radar and under all the hype of Evgeni Malkin. Right now, Stastny trails Malkin by only 7 points (Stastny 2 points today). Now, most people have already placed Malkin's name on the award, but Stastny definitely deserves a lot of attention and he's not getting that. He's an awesome player and has already set a record for most points by a rookie for the Avalanche. This kid deserves my recognition for what he's done for himself and what he's done to help keep the Avs in the playoff race.
2006-07 Lowe's Senior Award narrows its choices down. Nate Raduns (River City) and Jeff Jakaitis (Waterloo) have made the cut.

USHL has a very awesome looking page on wikipedia. The person who created this page did an excellent job. Check out the individual team pages, and if you're a fan of the team, try and add a little to it.
Lastly, Ohio picked up a win on the road in Tri-City. This marks the 2nd win on the road vs the West for the Junior Blue Jackets. Ohio was outshot 45-15.
Former Lancer, Justin Johnson, has been picked up by the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL.
