More Commits

Sioux City's Jerry Kuhn has made a committment to play for Western Michigan University. Jerry is in his 2nd season with the Musketeers, and is a top goalie in the league. Kuhn is an excellent goaltender and should be able to step in and be ready to compete for a significant role at WMU.

Omaha's Andrew Conboy has committed to the University of Nebraska-Omaha. I guess he liked Omaha so well, he decided he wanted to stick around another 5 or so years. Conboy has really been a solid player so far this year for the Lancers, notching 20 points in 27 games. He recently had a goal scoring streak snapped at 4 games. Conboy spent last season in the NAHL with the Wichita Falls Wildcats, where he recorded 15 points in 51 games. Andrew will enroll in the fall of 2008.

Indiana's Jake Skjodt has also committed to the University of Nebraska-Omaha. The Carmel, Indiana native is 3rd on the team in scoring with 24 points. Jake also leads the team in goals with 16. Skjodt becomes the 16th player to commit to the Mavericks so far. Jake will join the Mavs for the 2008 season.

In a kind of related note, it appears Indiana's John Kemp will enroll at UNO in the fall of 2008 instead of 2007 like originally planned.

Hmmm...I really thought Kuhn would have ended up at a bigger school.
