Quickly

Was going to wait until tomorrow, but might as well get it done now.

Chris Heisenberg reports that Sioux Falls Stampede players David Solway and Matt Lundin have made college commitments. Solway, a native of Green Bay, has committed to Bowling Green University for next fall. Lundin, on the other hand, has made his choice to go to Mercyhurst College.

Solway is 4th on the Stampede in scoring this season, with 21, including 12 goals. He spent last season in the NAHL with Sante Fe and posted a respectable 39 points. Though a little on the short side, David is no stranger to putting the puck in the net. Bowling Green will be getting a reliable scoring threat for them next fall.

Lundin, who left Maine to play in Sioux Falls, decided to try for a different school this season. He found a perfect school in Mercyhurst, as both goalies on the roster are seniors this year, so it will give Matt an opportunity to jump right in and be the go to guy. Lundin has played excellent as of late, and has put his record at 11-9-2, including 6 consecutive wins. Not bad considering he started the year 0-4-1.

The Red Line Report put out their rankings, and I'm only aware of one player and where he is. Tri-City's Tristin Llewellyn came in at #22 on RLR's rankings for the upcoming NHL entry draft.

The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League announced on Wednesday that defenseman Tristin Llewellyn is currently ranked 22nd in the world among players eligible for the National Hockey League’s 2007 Entry Draft.

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet (as it has been plastered over every USHL team's site), this year's USHL All-Star game will offer a free broadcast over the B2 networks. Excellent news for those who wouldn't be able to make it to Waterloo on a weekday night. I was able to catch a B2 feed from Waterloo last season, and it was not very good. So don't get your hopes set too high on that one.
