Just recently, the United States released their preliminary list of players set to compete for a roster spot for this year's World Junior Championships. Chris at the Western College Hockey Blog has some more info.
The preliminary roster includes several players with USHL ties. Those players include:
Kevin Gravel - Sioux City Musketeers
Connor Brickley - Des Moines Buccaneers
Brian Ferlin - Indiana Ice
John Gaudreau - Dubuque Fighting Saints
Kyle Rau - Sioux Falls Stampede
T.J. Tynan - Des Moines Buccaneers
Austin Czarnik - Green Bay Gamblers
Also, among those named are several players that played for the USNTDP while competing in the USHL circuit. Those players include:
