I received an email last night from a friend in Indiana. They said Ethan Werek left Ice camp, but at the time did not know his destination. When I read this, I thought perhaps he was heading to the OHL. Sure enough, he has signed with the Kingston Frontenacs.
Werek had committed to Boston University for next fall, where he would join his Stouffville teammate, Cory Trivino. I was very excited to get to watch this kid play, as he is supposed to be a good one. This is not only a huge loss for Indiana, but for the USHL as a whole and Boston U.
