Yet another matchup that could be a dandy of a series. These two clubs have had quite a few battles this season. Chicago will need to rely heavily on Rob Madore and hope he can steal a game or two, though Chicago is clicking as a team and shouldn't be taken lightly. Though Indiana had a couple of players get in some trouble, they proved they could still score, as they lit the lamp 13 times in two games. I can see this series coming down to a goalie battle between Rob Madore and Scott Darling. Darling hadn't been too impressive in his past few outings, but the kid is big and very athletic for his size and will bring his A game. This series will also feature some of the best players in the East Division, such as John Kemp, Paul Carey, Brian O'Neill, and Luca Cunti. It will also feature the hottest player in the league right now, Chicago's Simon Olsson. Olsson has scored 22 points over his last 10 games. This series will allow John Kemp to showcase his skills. This is probably one of the best passers I have ever seen in my time watching the USHL. After checking the scoring, Chicago will need to contain John Kemp, Jake Skjodt, and Paul Carey if they want any chance of winning this series. Indiana hasn't had spread out scoring vs Chicago, so they will rely on Kemp, Skjodt, and Carey to lead them. Chicago will also need to stay out of the box, as their PK isn't the greatest and Indiana has an above average PP. Last little tidbit is that the home team has won all games but 2. Indiana is the only team to have won a game on the road in the season series.
Here is a rundown of the meetings between these two teams during the regular season.
