The Musketeers completed the first-half of the USHL season
with a 22-7-1 record, good for 45 pts, 2nd place in the
West Division, 3rd place overall in the USHL.

Scoring- Steve Quailer- 7 g, 22 a, 29 pts
Goaltending- Josh Robinson- 14-4, 2.63 gaa, .921 sv%
Last Week Recap:
The Musketeers won in Sioux Falls last Wednesday, 3-2 on
a late goal by Joey Miller. Sioux City went 0-2 in a
home-home over the weekend with the Lincoln Stars. The
Muskies were defeated 6-1 in the Ice Box on Friday and
shut-out 1-0 Saturday at the Tyson Events Center. Cody
Butcher scored the lone goal on the weekend for Sioux
City. Goalie Steve Thompson stopped 34 of 35 shots in a
losing effort Saturday.

in Des Moines taking on the Buccaneers (6-23-2, 14 pts.
The Muskies are 2-1 against the Bucs this season,
dropping a 2-1 decision on their only visit to 95KGGO
Arena. On Saturday, the Musketeers travel to Young
Arena to face the Waterloo Blackhawks (16-9-5, 37 pts.
These two have only faced once in the regular season,
with Sioux City winning 5-1 at the Tyson on Dec. 29.
Musketeer Tidbits:
-Sioux City will be without one their top scorers,
Donnie Hallmark, for a minimum 5-6 weeks. Hallmark
broke bones in his hand during a fight with Lincoln's
Michael Sdao on Saturday
-Cody Butcher's goal on Friday was his first as a
Musketeer
-The Muskies scoring has been evenly distributed
throughout the team, with 9 players having at least
20 pts and 13 with at least 10 pts
-Sioux City has 3 games at hand on first-place
Omaha, who they trail by only 1 point
-The Musketeers return home to the Tyson Events
Center on January 25 to take on the Cedar Rapids
