Saturday Game Recaps

Des Moines finally won.

Sioux City outlasted Tri-City.

Chicago defeated Sioux Falls.

Indiana got by Waterloo in a shootout.

Lincoln squeaked by Omaha.

My Three Stars:
1. Andy Miele (CHI) - another hat trick, and had the game winner.
2. Justin Brossman (SC) - 2 goals and an assist, including the game winner.
3. Chris Forfar (LIN) - 2 goals, including the game winner.

will be very interesting to see what Chicago does in January when Miele is gone.......

watched Chris Forfar over last several games and Waterloo lost a good player.

As a Stars fan, I have to say "Thank You" to the Waterloo management for deciding to cut Ryan Krezter, and trade Chris Forfar. These two players have contributed quite a lot to the Stars thus far. Both were quality acquisitions by Coach McGroarty.

Your X-Mas card is in the mail, Waterloo.

I am not quite sure if miele will be leaving. miami released their signings and no mention of anyone joining the team in january. i couldnt see a player of mieles caliber to waste almost a whole year of eligibility in a year he barely played.

idk, miami could make a national championship run this year, and adding Miele could certainly make them an even stronger team and help them on their way.

Wow! Des Moines had to go into over time to beat the worst team in the League! What a way for Regg to get his 100th win. Congrats! :)

I thought Des Moines was the lowest cellar dweller in the league!

The Steel are much improved no doubt, and Miele of course is a big part of that. The team has not lost in regulation in nine games. That includes playing Omaha and Sioux Falls twice and Indy, Sioux City and Waterloo each once.

Losing Miele would knock this team down a notch for sure..
