Sioux City rookie forward, Ben Kinne, has committed to Bemidji State for next fall. Kinne, a St. Paul native, currently has 16 points (9-7--16) through 22 games with the Musketeers. He leads the team in shots with 71, so he likes to shoot the puck.
Ben spent last season in New Mexico, playing for the NAHL's Santa Fe Roadrunners. Kinne put up 37 points (20-17--37) in 59 games for Santa Fe.
Prior to spending time in the junior ranks, Kinne played for Cretin-Derham Hall in Minnesota, so it's nice for him to get a college opportunity to play college hockey in his home state.
