I'm guessing he was a scratch and was forced to don the goalie gear and be the team's emergency goalie. Aaron Crandall was suspended for the game.
So a GB forward put on the goalie gear, and beat Omaha in their own building?
Classic.
no no, they got it wrong in Omaha and gave Johnstone the stats originally, instead of Conway, who actually played.
It has since been fixed.
Omaha scorekeeper was given the wrong information from Green Bay and that is why it was originally incorrect. Crandall was suspended for the game, so Johnstone became the backup.
