Sioux Falls' Drew Fisher has committed to the University of Minnesota for 2007.

Fisher gives verbal commitment to Minnesota

International Falls native and USHL standout Drew Fisher has given a verbal commitment to play hockey at the University of Minnesota for the 2007-2008 college hockey season.
Fisher met with Gophers’ head coach Don Lucia on Thursday and committed to the team, a full story will run in The Daily Journal next week.


Wil Nichol named head coach at Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Good for Wil! A great guy, a classy coach who could get his players motivated, and the best thing there ever was for Chicago Steel hockey. I wish him nothing but the best.
