News and Notes

The Ontario Hockey League had their annual bantam draft today, and one of the biggest surprises was Erie Otters taking Lincoln goalie and Michigan recruit, Bryan Hogan, in the 5th round.

Cedar Rapids or Waterloo Will Host USHL Final Four.

If Waterloo hosts:

Saturday, May 12
Semifinal Game 1: Indiana vs. #2 West - 2:00 p.m.
Semifinal Game 2: Des Moines vs. Waterloo - 7:00 p.m.

Sunday, May 13
USHL Championship Game TBA

Tickets will go on sale Monday, May 7 at 11:30 a.m. Tickets may be purchased online at www.waterlooblackhawks.com, or by calling the Waterloo ticket office at (319) 291-7680. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Waterloo box office. Ticket cost for all seats is $15, with a $1 discount in place for senior citizens, active military personnel and children under 12 years of age. Kids three and under do not need a ticket but will need to sit on a lap.

If Cedar Rapids hosts:

Friday, May 11
Semifinal Game 1: Indiana vs. #2 West - 2:00 p.m.
Semifinal Game 2: Des Moines vs. Cedar Rapids - 7:05 p.m.

Saturday, May 12
USHL Championship Game - 7:05 p.m.

Tickets will go on sale Monday, May 7. Tickets may be purchased online at www.roughridershockey.com, or by calling the Cedar Rapids ticket office at (319) 247-0340. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Cedar Rapids box office. Red Zone tickets are $18, Blue Zone are $14, Green Zone are $12 and Yellow Zone are $10 for adults and $8 for children, senior citizens and military personnel.

Chicago Steel goalie, Pat McGann, has committed to Quinnipiac University for next fall.
