These are going to be short and sweet.
Des Moines Buccaneers vs Waterloo Black Hawks
The Hawks and Bucs split wins this season, with the home team winning two each. Richard Purslow, Matt Read, and Ben Ryan led the Buccaneers on the offensive side, while Josh Turnbull, James Marcou, and Brett Barta were the Black Hawk offensive leaders. Matt Dalton is 2-1 vs Waterloo, but gave up an average of nearly five goals per game. Meanwhile, Matt DiGiralamo is 2-0 against Des Moines and posted an impressive 1.80 goals against average. Ryan Rondeau is 0-1-1 and has given up nearly five a game as well.
Indiana Ice vs Sioux Falls Stampede
This series was split again, as both home teams took away two wins. When Indiana made the trip to Sioux Falls though, they were outscored 13-2. Charlie Skjodt has this team going in the right direction though, so Indiana will be ready for Sioux Falls this time around. Offensively, Indiana was led by their big three Garrett Roe, John Kemp, and Jake Skjodt. Sioux Falls is led by Corey Tropp, David Solway, and Zach Redmond on the offensive side. Alex Kangas was less than stellar, but he will be out for revenge this afternoon as he gets to face off against his former team when the game truly matters. Will he prevail?
I have decided against doing predictions since most that I did were too horrible. And a side note, I will not have any previews tomorrow, so I will get game recaps for tonight and tomorrow and a congratulations to the new, or possibly repeat, Clark Cup Champion on Monday sometime.

I don't see a way to submit stories to the author of this site so this is the best place I could find to post it...
Ryan Birmingham, who was an on ice official in the USHL at one time, was killed in a car accident this morning (5/13/07). He was traveling from Chattanooga, TN to Atlanta, GA when he lost control of his car and hit a tree around Dalton, GA. They think that he fell asleep at the wheel but aren’t 100% sure yet.
That's a damn shame to hear. I got to meet Birmingham several times when I worked in the league. Great guy. My condolences go out to the family.
I think you do a disservice to Kangas with your post since the whole operation was less than stellar--the coaching, the game plan, the defense and of course the offense. The team was having no fun playing and it was obvious. Laying on the goalie was a terrible thing to do.
