2006-2007 Clark Cup Champions

The Sioux Falls Stampede have defeated the Waterloo Black Hawks 3-0 to claim their first ever USHL league title. Sioux Falls played great and appeared to know what Waterloo was going to do next. It was a good game and you couldn't have asked for anything more (except maybe if you're a Hawks fan, of course.) Sioux Falls got goals from Drew Fisher, Brad Malone, and Dan Sexton while Matt Lundin turned away every Black Hawk shot for the shutout in the biggest game of the year.

Lundin was named MVP of the finals, and rightfully so. He made some key saves that allowed the Stampede to go ahead and stay ahead, and most importantly, take the crowd out of the equation.

Excellent attendance for two of the three games.

Congratulations to the Sioux Falls Stampede for winning this year's Clark Cup Championship.

excellent attendance for Waterloo games, big shock. attendance for the non-home teams game 790, atrocious. another reason this playoff set up was a joke.

I think there were more than 790 people at Buffalo Wild Wings for the Semifinal and finals. Too bad we couldn't see our team win the cup at home.

I hope to god this is the last year the playoffs will be set up like this.

WHY'D THE B'HAWKS LEAVE THE ICE BEFORE GASPARINI PRESENTED SF WITH THE CUP. PRETTY POOR.

To let them celebrate without onlookers??? How would you like your heart ripped out in front of your fans and watch another team raise the cup on your ice? Congrats to the Stampede, they out played the Hawks.

it's common courtesy to remain on the ice when the championship trophy is being presented, It's called showing good sportsmanship. We are humble in victory,
and gracious in defeat.

What was the Anderson Cup if not our first league title????

Andy isn't a league championship trophy, so yes, it is Sioux Falls' first USHL title.

I guess you could say that the Buffalo Sabers, Detroit Red Wings, and the Ottawa Senators don;t have "good sportsmanship either. Buffalo and Detriot left before the conf. championship trophys were presented. Also the Sens left before the Stanley Cup was presented.
