A big congrats goes to the Michigan State Spartans and former USHLers Chris Snavely, Justin Abdelkader, and Tyler Howells from Cedar Rapids, Jeff Dunne from Chicago, Chris Lawrence from Dubuque, Dan Sturges and Justin Johnston from Green Bay, Jay Sprague (Chicago) from Indiana, Ethan Graham from Lincoln, Jeff Lerg, Ryan Turek, Matt Schepke, and Bobby Jarosz from Omaha, Tim Kennedy from Sioux City, and Jim McKenzie from Sioux Falls.
Honorary congrats to former USHLers on Boston College as well.
Tim Kennedy and Justin Abdelkader each had a goal and assist, with Abdelkader's being the game winner with an assist from Kennedy. Tyler Howells and Jim McKenzie also added assists. Jeff Lerg stood tall in net and stopped 28 Eagle shots for the big victory.
Edit: Just to be clear, Jay Sprague did play for the Chicago Steel as well. Dan Sturges played with Waterloo as well, and Justin Johnston played with Sioux City prior to Green Bay. :)
