A few things have been decided in the West. Omaha, Lincoln, and Tri-City have clinched home ice, with Sioux Falls, Sioux City, and Des Moines going on the road for the first round.
Cedar Rapids shutout Indiana in Indiana.
Ohio took care of Chicago.
Sioux Falls failed to score a goal against Lincoln.
Omaha fought off Sioux City.
Tri-City used a marathon of a shootout to get past Des Moines.
Waterloo slipped by Green Bay.

1. Bryan Hogan (Lincoln) 37 saves in a shutout win over Sioux Falls.
2. Derek Roehl (Ohio) 3 goals on 5 shots in a win over Chicago.
3. Richard Bachman (Cedar Rapids) 31 saves in a shutout win over Indiana.
