Sioux Falls' Dan Sexton and Green Bay's Sean Murphy have made their college choices.
Sexton, a native of Apple Valley, Minnesota, is in his first season with the Stampede. He spent last season with the Wichita Falls Wildcats of the NAHL. He was drafted by Cedar Rapids last May, but failed to make their roster. Dan later ended up with Sioux Falls and has recently started scoring more, including 3 goals in his last 5 games. Sexton will play his college hockey at Bentley next fall.
Murphy, a native of Owatonna, Minnesota, is suiting up for the Green Bay Gamblers. He spent the first part of the season with Waterloo, before becoming the odd man out when veteran Mitch Ryan returned. Sean spent last season with the Southern Minnesota Express before a trade sent him to Waterloo. Murphy led the Express in scoring last season. He has just 10 points in 32 USHL games, including just 2 with Green Bay. Murphy will play his college hockey at RIT next fall.
