Omaha Lancers have added Slovakian goaltender Michal Valent to their roster. This gives the Lancers 3 goalies now, and with Palmisano playing great and Tibbett being a solid backup, I'm not sure where Valent will fit in just yet.
• NOTES: The Lancers filled their vacant foreign roster spot Friday night, acquiring Slovakian Michal Valent. A 6-foot-2, 180-pound goalie, Valent was playing in his native country for Slavia Trebic.
Omaha defenseman Nick Petrecki has scored a goal in his last 4 games. Pretty good considering he hadn't scored a goal in 60 regular season games for the Lancers.
Cedar Rapids forward Casey Wellman notched his first career USHL goal in the Riders route of Green Bay last night.
