NCAA Hockey Has Distinct Advantages
There was an article posted on USHL.com, via The Hockey News, regarding NCAA hockey. If you get a chance, take some time to read this article.
My favorite part of the article:
When Detroit Red Wings assistant general manager Jim Nill, 48, scouted his first college game at Wisconsin several years ago he came away feeling like a man who had just been let in on hockey's best secret.

Well I tend to find USHL games more exciting. The fans tend to be more into it. The arenas like Kearney, SF, SC, Omaha all have great effects lights and I think that gives them an advantage.
I'm kind of comparing apples to oranges though as I'm comparing going to USHL games vs watching colleges on tv. I do plan on seeing a few college games this year though.
