So far there have been two kids drop from the CHL to the USHL. The first was Scott Fletcher, who went to Tri-City after leaving the Saginaw Spirit. Fletcher racked up a total of 294 PIM in the OHL in just 118 career games. Fletcher only managed 4 career points in those 118 games also. He already has 2 goals (1 more than he had in his entire OHL career) in 5 games for the Storm.
Next to come to the USHL was the WHL's Jonathan Milhouse. He spent last season and part of this season with the Everett Silvertips. Milhouse will be playing for the Chicago Steel and should be suited for them this coming weekend. Jonathan was on Tri-City's roster for the Buc Bowl, but was cut afterwards. Milhouse has 0 career points in 34 career WHL games. In my opinion, he should have explored other junior hockey before making the decision to jump to MJ. It's sad when kids lose their college eligibility for 30 games without scoring a single point.
