The Canadian Hockey League (OHL, WHL, QMJHL) held their import draft today. Four USHLers were selected, including Chicago's Simon Olsson and Luca Cunti, Indiana's Stepan Novotny, and Des Moines' Alexander Denezhkin.
Olsson was selected by the Prince Edward Island Rocket of the QMJHL and I wouldn't be surprised if he went to play there.
Cunti was selected by the Rimouski Oceanic of the QMJHL. He wasn't protected by the Steel, so he could go to Rimouski or back to Europe to play.
Novotny was selected by the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL, in a trade with the Saskatoon Blades. Kelowna gave a couple quality players, so they must believe Novotny is interested in heading north. Novotny is committed to the University of Denver.
Denezhkin was selected by the Oshawa Generals of the OHL. Alexander wasn't protected by Des Moines, so perhaps his plan is to go north of the border to play.
